Hurricane Meal Prep with NC Cooperative Extension In-Person
Hurricane Season is here. Are you prepared? Some essential items people often forget to prepare are shelf-stable and nutritious food items. In this class you will learn things such as - How long can I keep food in my refrigerator/freezer when the power goes out? How do I ensure that I'll have enough food to get me through a week without acess to the grocery store? How will I make coffee if the power goes out? Come get the answers to these questions and more with Cooperative Extension's Hurricane Meal Prep class. In this class, we will cover all you need to know about food safety and food preperation for hurricanes and other natural disasters.
