MEET THE AUTHORS - Theresa Dodaro and Carey Keefe In-Person
The Bayman's Daughter, written by Theresa Dodaro, is a time-slip novel that takes place in the quaint seaside hamlet of Sayville, Long Island. Hannah Trumball is the daughter of an English bayman and an Irish lady's maid. Philip Ferrara also lives in Sayville, but one hundred years later. On the night of Super Storm Sandy, Philip is transported back in time to the year 1912. When Hannah and Philip meet, their story really begins. This is a story that intertwines the history of Long Island with a love story that crosses time itself.
Ms. Dodaro holds a BA in liberal arts from Stony Brook University, NY. She is a member of the Author’s Guild. Ms. Dodaro recently moved with her husband from Sayville to Bolivia, NC.
A Tide of Dreams is the story of three college football star players and friends with one dream – to be the winningest partnership of coaches the sport has ever seen. This is not a story about college football, but a story about friendship and loyalty, aspirations and dreams, and the intriguing blend of three personalities who loved the game.
Carey Henry Keefe received a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Richmond, VA. Keefe writes narrative non-fiction and speaks regularly to groups about how the Navy used sports during WWII to train aviators. She currently resides in Virginia with her husband of forty-four years.
